First of all I would like to apologize for writing this letter in English, but my German is not that good.

God only knows how hard it is to have to write down not that Flo was not worth it, but simply from pain having to keep in mind that he is no longer with us.

I have worked with him for the whole time (April to November 2009) he was here (in the Kosovo) in the mission and i have told him also that it was a pleasure doing so, because i have never and will never meet a more professional soldier than him, not only his Family but the whole German Army should be happy that they had such a Man among them.

I am truly missing him, but i hope that he has found a better place than here I will not say goodbye, but I will write a small note Flo gave me for my birthday.

Hello my name is Beni

i met flo last summer at plana (in the Kosovo) before he go to film city.

i was there aneantis when Chris announced me this tragedy. I present you my condolances.

Flo was a great man and a formidable friend. It's hard to imagine itself a big chap as him, so funny and spiritual as somebody of the only one.

He was a real friend, full of kindness and healthy reflections and always the word to laugh.

Kept silent Flo misses us (sorry for approximate English)

Bonjour, je m'appelle Beni et visiblement mon anglais est insuffisant alors comme vous me le demandez je vous écris dans ma langue maternelle.
J'ai connu Florian au kosovo l'été dernier alors qu'il séjourne à plana et j'ai pu constater à quel point il était gentil et formidable pour dire je crois avoir passé plus de temps avec lui et christian qu'avec mes compatriotes. J'ai vraiment été anéantis lorsque kris ma prévenu de son décès, je n'y croyais pas .Impossible vraiment de s'imaginer Florian comme quelqu'un de triste ou solitaire alors qu'il avait toujours le mot pour rire et jamais il n'a été fataliste ou défaitiste. Dans mon souvenir il restera ce grand gaillard spirituel et intègre qui nous as fait rire aux éclats et avec qui les discussions étaient intéressantes et vraiment constructives. Un vrai bon gars comme on dit par chez moi je le regrette sincèrement et il restera dans mon souvenir. Flo tu nous manques beaucoup requiem in pace

Als erstes möchte ich mein tiefstes Beileid ausdrücken zu Ihrem Verlust!

Ich habe ihren Sohn im 23. Kosovo Force Einsatz kennen gelernt!

Es tut mir sehr leid, dass ich erst jetzt durch Kameraden an diese Seite gekommen bin. Und ich verdanken Ihrem Sohn sehr viel, da ich alleine schon mit ihm dienen durfte. Da ich sein Personalbearbeiter im Einsatz war, trifft mich eine Teilschuld, da ich die Anzeichen nicht erkennen konnte, da ich nicht objektiv genug war, die Last zu sehen, die Ihr Sohn trug!

Ich lebe jedoch mit den Bildern und den Erinnerungen an Ihren Sohn, der mir geholfenen hatte, z.B. an dem amerikanischen Schiessen am 15.09.2009, als er mein Rotenführer war.
